Start with your aim, then choose the treatment
If your hair is difficult to detangle, feels rough or looks dull, it is worth reviewing its care and previous treatments. If frizz and the time spent smoothing are the main concerns, a different service may be relevant. A natural curl is not damage in itself. Before choosing a treatment, decide whether you want to keep it, make it a little more manageable or change how you style your hair.
Lightened hair, very fine hair and hair frequently exposed to high heat may each need a different approach. Not every treatment suits every condition. The word keratin in a service name does not establish that it is appropriate for weakened lengths.
Conditioning treatments and keratin straightening
A conditioning treatment primarily aims to improve softness, slip, the appearance of the surface and manageability within the capabilities of the particular product. It cannot reverse every kind of damage or permanently mend split ends. If the ends are badly compromised, a haircut and reducing damaging habits may also form part of the plan.
Keratin straightening is a smoothing service whose process and requirements depend on the product used. It may involve heated tools and alter the appearance of the natural curl. It should not be treated as a universal cure for hair damage or simply an alternative to conditioner. Ask about the ingredients, application method and recommendations for the specific product.
Planning your appointment
Begin by describing your history of colouring, lightening, previous straightening and home care. Assessing the lengths helps establish the scope of the service and whether the goal is realistic. A conditioning treatment may involve suitable washing, applying the chosen product, rinsing according to its instructions and finishing the hair. For straightening, the whole process must follow the recommendations of the system being used, rather than a general routine found online.
The example plan allows approximately 60 minutes for a Montibello restorative treatment and 180 minutes for keratin straightening. These are two different services. Length and density can change the time needed. Agree the precise plan and whether a strand test is appropriate when booking.
Assessing the result after your treatment
Notice how easily the hair detangles, how smooth it feels and how it behaves after subsequent washes. Hair that has been carefully blow-dried may look smoother simply because of the finish. It is therefore useful to agree which results are expected to last at home and which styling steps will still be needed.
How long the effect lasts depends on the product used, the hair's texture, washing frequency and aftercare. We cannot promise permanent straightness or a fixed number of months without knowing the service. The gallery includes a photograph of smooth brown hair, but the image alone does not confirm that keratin straightening was used; it shows the visible finish.
Hair care after your visit
Advice on the first wash, tying your hair up and future colouring should follow the choice of treatment. Products do not all require the same waiting period, so a general instruction found online may be unsuitable. Ask how often to use conditioner and a mask, and whether your current products fit the agreed plan.
Dry gently, avoid pulling while detangling and limit repeated passes of a hot tool over the same section. More product does not necessarily mean a better result: too much can weigh the style down. Professional brands Montibello and milk_shake are part of Jowita's work, but choosing a product should reflect your hair's needs as well as its brand.
When extra care is needed
Mention previous reactions to cosmetics, sensitivity to fragrances and scalp irritation. Broken skin or very weakened hair may mean postponing a treatment. If you have questions relating to your health, pregnancy or tolerance of ingredients, discuss the particular product with a doctor and check the manufacturer's instructions. This website cannot provide a medical assessment of your suitability for the service.
The price from 120 zł refers to an example restorative treatment and must be confirmed. The demo list gives keratin straightening an example price from 350 zł. These are separate services with separate prices. Call 663 304 091 to discuss what you need at the salon at ul. Szczecińska 3/4 in Goleniów.

Before your visit
Can keratin repair all damaged hair?
No. A smoother appearance does not mean that all damage has been reversed. The hair needs to be assessed before treatment, and very weakened lengths may need a different approach.
Do I need to wait several days before washing?
This depends on the particular product and its instructions. Get the recommendations from the salon after agreeing the service, rather than automatically following the rules for a different system.
Can straightening be combined with colouring?
The order and interval need to be agreed individually according to the hair's condition and the products used. Do not arrange the treatments close together without discussing them as one plan.
Does the photograph of straight hair show a keratin result?
The method used has not been confirmed. The photograph shows a smooth finish on brown hair with highlights and is visual inspiration, rather than evidence of a specific treatment.
