Controller and contact

The data controller is Jowita Litwin, trading as “Studio Fryzur – Jowita Litwin”, ul. Szczecińska 3/4, 72-100 Goleniów, Poland, Polish tax number (NIP) 8561785876. For privacy matters, call +48 663 304 091 or write to the salon’s postal address.

Email: the email address will be added.

Contact, purposes and legal grounds

When you call or contact the salon on Facebook, the salon receives the details you provide, such as your name, phone number, profile name, enquiry and appointment arrangements. Providing information is voluntary, but the details needed to answer or arrange an appointment may be necessary to handle your request. Do not provide health information or other sensitive data unless it is needed for your enquiry.

  • Answering enquiries and handling correspondence: the legitimate interest in responding to contacts — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
  • Arranging an appointment at your request and providing an agreed service: steps before entering into a contract and performing that contract — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Loading embedded Google Maps and the associated disclosure of data: your consent — Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
  • Operating the website securely, resolving faults, remembering privacy choices and, where necessary, establishing, pursuing or defending claims: the controller’s legitimate interests — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Booking demonstration

The booking form is a demonstration only. Your name, phone number and notes remain in the current page’s memory in your browser. They are not sent to the salon, stored in a database or saved in cookies, localStorage or IndexedDB. Refreshing or closing the page ends the form session; browser autofill has its own settings.

Use sample details. A demo confirmation does not book an appointment. Downloading a calendar file saves it on your device; if you import it, the rules of your chosen calendar application also apply.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served by a hosting provider in the EU. A connection supplies the server with technical information, such as an IP address, request time, requested resource and information supplied by the browser. Server logs may record it to protect the site, detect abuse and resolve faults, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Logs should be retained for a short period needed for those purposes, and longer only as necessary to investigate a specific incident or protect legal claims. The exact rotation period depends on the hosting configuration and still requires confirmation; we do not state an unverified number of days. Contact the controller for current details.

Cookies and your stored privacy choice

This website does not set its own cookies. An essential localStorage entry remembers your choice: the information version, decision date and permitted categories. It contains no booking information or advertising identifier and is not sent to the salon. The “Necessary” category is always enabled; remembering the choice also enables the site to respect a refusal.

The optional “External media — Google Maps” category is disabled until you consent. You can accept all categories, allow only necessary storage or choose individual settings. Your choice applies across the pages and languages of this same website and is synchronised between its tabs in the same browser.

The record stays in your browser until you change your choice or clear the site’s data. A new settings version may require a fresh decision. If your browser blocks storage, your choice may last only until the page reloads. You can change settings or withdraw consent using the footer or the button below, as easily as giving consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Google Maps and Facebook

Google Maps loads only after you allow external media. Selecting “Show map” also gives and stores this consent, as explained beside the button. Without consent, the salon address and a normal “Open in Google Maps” link remain available.

Google Maps is provided to users in the European Economic Area by Google Ireland Limited, Ireland. Loading the map shares information such as your IP address and browser details with Google, which may use cookies or similar technologies. Data may also be processed outside the EEA, including in the USA. Google’s privacy policy, linked below, explains its practices, transfer safeguards and retention.

Withdrawing consent removes the embedded map and prevents it from loading again. This cannot retrieve information already sent to Google or delete data stored by the provider on its own domain; manage that data in your browser or Google settings.

Facebook and Google Maps links are ordinary hyperlinks. Displaying them does not connect to those services. When you open a link or message the salon on Facebook, the platform provider also processes data under its own terms, which may include transfers outside the EEA. This website has no social plugins or Facebook pixel.

Recipients

The hosting provider in the EU and people authorised to maintain the website may access technical information only as needed. Depending on how you contact the salon, a telephone provider or Facebook handles the communication. Google receives data when you enable the map or follow a link to its service. Information may be disclosed to competent public authorities where required by law.

Retention

Contact details and correspondence are kept for as long as needed to handle the matter or provide the agreed appointment. Where necessary to establish, pursue or defend specific claims, the relevant information may be retained until the applicable limitation period expires. Making contact does not justify indefinite retention.

The hosting section explains server logs, and the cookies section explains stored privacy choices. The booking demo creates no lasting salon record. Google and Facebook retention depends on their policies and your settings.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR’s conditions, you may access, correct or erase your information, or restrict its processing. You may object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on legitimate interests. Data portability applies to information you supplied that is processed automatically on the basis of consent or a contract.

You can withdraw consent at any time. Contact the controller using the phone number or postal address above to exercise your rights. You may also complain to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, PUODO), where the controller is based. Information about complaints is available on the UODO website linked below.

No analytics or profiling

The salon does not use visitor analytics, advertising tracking or profiling on this website. It does not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means. Fonts, images and scripts are served locally. This policy covers the public website and demo; introducing actual online booking will require an update.
