Choosing a hairstyle for the occasion
A relaxed updo, a more structured bun and loose waves offer different possibilities. Consider whether you want your neck and neckline visible, whether you would like pieces around your face and how you usually feel with your hair up. A photograph should start a conversation about comfort, rather than lead you towards a style that does not feel like you.
Think about how active you will be during the event, too. A quiet photo shoot may call for a different plan from a long day of dancing and moving between places. There is no single required style: choosing the structure and hold to suit your expectations and hair type matters more.
Why plan a bridal hair trial?
A trial lets you assess the proportions, where accessories will be secured and how your hair responds to the chosen shape. Bring the veil or accessory you actually intend to wear, together with a photograph of your outfit and neckline. If you plan to wear earrings, show their size. A delicate clip and a heavier comb need different consideration when preparing their attachment points.
Assess the trial style both immediately and as you move around normally. Note whether a section gets in the way or whether you would prefer more volume or a more open look around your face. Agree the trial date, cost and its relationship to the wedding-day service individually; the example price list does not mean both are included in one price.
The styling stages and approximate timings
The first step is to agree the shape and how to prepare the hair. Depending on the aim, this may involve adding texture, creating waves, gradually building the updo and refining the sections around the face. Accessories are secured to suit the planned structure. At the end, look at the style from every angle, move your head and mention any pressure or pulling.
The example plan allows approximately 60 minutes for an occasion updo, 90 minutes for bridal hair and 45 minutes for waves or curls. These are estimates and must be confirmed for the particular style. Length, density, accessories and additional preparation can change what the appointment involves.
Preparing your hair and your schedule
Ask the salon directly how to wash your hair before the appointment. There is no universal rule that it must be unwashed: preparation should suit the texture and technique. Avoid applying lots of oil, a heavy leave-in mask or strong-hold products yourself unless agreed beforehand. The hair should be workable without excessive build-up.
On the day, wear something that can be removed easily without pulling a tight neckline over your hair. Agree the order of hair, make-up and dressing with the people involved in the event. Allow time for travel and for putting on accessories without rushing; do not build the whole schedule around the shortest time shown in the demo calendar.
How the style holds and caring for it afterwards
How well a hairstyle holds depends on the hair, weather, humidity, movement and its structure. An identical appearance cannot be promised for any given number of hours. At the trial, discuss whether a little softening is part of the intended effect or whether you prefer a more structured finish. Explain how your hair usually behaves after curling, as this helps when planning waves.
After the event, remove pins and accessories carefully, a section at a time. Avoid forcing a brush through a firmly set updo. Wash as needed, use conditioner to help detangling and gradually work through knots from the ends upwards. If you are using added hair pieces, discuss their removal and care in advance.
Service details and the portfolio
Mention a sensitive scalp, discomfort with tight hairstyles and previous reactions to cosmetics. An updo should not cause painful pulling. If your scalp is irritated or damaged, discuss the plan before the appointment. Do not assume that unplanned extensions or extra accessories can be added without changing the time needed.
The price from 150 zł for an occasion updo is an example and must be confirmed. The example price for bridal hair is from 250 zł, and for waves or curls from 100 zł. The gallery includes waves styled by Jowita. The photograph shown here is inspiration for a wavy finish, rather than a record of a bridal updo. Ask whether your chosen hairstyle can be created when arranging the appointment.
Before your visit
Does a bridal hair trial need a separate booking?
Call 663 304 091 to agree the trial date, what it includes and its cost. Do not assume it is covered by the example price for styling on the wedding day.
Should I wash my hair on the day?
Ask before the appointment, describing your hair type and planned style. Preparation can vary; the key is to avoid applying heavy products that have not been agreed.
Can short hair be put into an updo?
The possibilities depend on the length in each section, the density and the shape you want. A consultation helps assess whether a half-up style, added texture, waves or another approach would suit best.
Does the salon provide a veil or hair accessories?
The website does not promise these items. Bring your own accessories to the trial or discuss them by phone so their attachment can be included in the styling plan.
